Our client are specialist contractors, known for effective project management and operational delivery, delivering a variety of projects from high end residential dwellings, to technically demanding large-scale office conversions and inspiring new builds.

 

Premier Recruitment Solutions are recruiting a qualified Site Manager with SMSTS and First Aid as a minimum to work under a Senior Project Manager on one of their prestigious residential developments.

 

This is a site based role on a currently live residential project.

 

Project:

 

Over-seeing conversion of a sizeable commercial premises into high end residential use. There is minimal structural work on the project.

 

  • Responsibilities include:
  • Drive a team of construction professionals
  • Execute the project to agreed specifications, budgets and timescales
  • Liaise with clients, architects and surveyors and report progress on a daily basis
  • Supervise and drive contract staff and subcontractors
  • Conduct health and safety inspections and ensure construction and site safety is maintained at all times
  • Prepare and check site reports, designs and drawings
  • Maintaining quality control procedures
  • Problem solving/trouble shoot on a daily basis resolving any issues that arise

 

Required Skills and experience:

 

  • Appropriate experience as a Site Manager/No. 2 with reputable main contractors on high value residential developments.
  • SMSTS and First Aid as a minimum
  • Ideally possess construction related further education
  • Ideally hold temporary works tickets

Contract to Perm

£220- £260 per day contract

£45,000 – £55,000 per annum once permanent

Our client is looking for a permanent Site Manager to run this project and to move onto other similar projects upon completion. If you are looking for a new challenge, with experience of refurbishment works (preferably in the Banking Sector) we would be interested in talking to you about this exciting role.

The client contractor that has been awarded numerous prestigious industry awards in recognition of their quality and environmental achievements.

This is a site based role on an ongoing rolling program of commercial refurbishment projects in the banking sector.

Responsibilities include:

  • Drive a team of construction professionals
  • Execute the project to agreed specifications, budgets and timescales
  • Liaise with clients, architects and surveyors and report progress on a daily basis
  • Supervise and drive contract staff and subcontractors
  • Conduct health and safety inspections and ensure construction and site safety is maintained at all times

  • Maintaining quality control procedures
  • Problem solving/trouble shoot on a daily basis resolving any issues that arise

Required Skills and experience:

  • At least 8 years’ experience of driving a variety of construction sites, specifically commercial refurbishments and ideally within the banking sector.
  • At least 3 years’ experience as a Site Manager/No. 2 with reputable contractor.
  • Ideally possess construction related further education
