We are currently recruiting for an experienced Care Manager to support the day-to-day running of an early-stage domiciliary care branch based in Manchester.

The branch is currently delivering approximately 300 care hours per week and has strong potential for growth. This is an ideal opportunity for a driven care professional who enjoys working in a busy environment, developing teams and helping to build a successful service.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day operations of the domiciliary care service
• Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, policies and procedures
• Lead, support and develop the care team
• Ensure safe, effective and person-centred care is delivered
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training and retention of care staff
• Manage care package allocations and staffing resources
• Complete and oversee quality audits, spot checks, supervisions and care reviews
• Build strong relationships with service users, families and healthcare professionals
• Support opportunities to grow the branch through referrals, networking and business development
• Monitor operational performance and identify areas for improvement
• Ensure safeguarding and risk management procedures are followed
• Drive continuous improvement across the service

Skills & Experience

• Previous management or senior care experience within domiciliary care
• Strong understanding of CQC regulations and adult social care
• Experience supporting or developing a growing homecare service
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Commercial awareness and an understanding of service growth
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care, or working towards
• Previous Registered Manager experience would be advantageous but is not essential
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
